About Academia de la Diplomacia del Reino de España
The Academia de la Diplomacia del Reino de España is a Madrid-based institution founded by Spanish ambassadors and created as an academy for diplomacy while remaining open to professionals connected with international relations, culture and protocol. Its activities include the study and analysis of diplomatic, historical, cultural, economic and political issues, as well as conferences, forums, courses and seminars. The Academy brings together diplomats, ambassadors and distinguished figures from different professional fields and promotes institutional dialogue and international engagement.
Partnership with MYCDIC
Cooperation framework
The Moroccan Youth Council for Diplomatic and International Cooperation (MYCDIC) and the Diplomatic Academy of the Kingdom of Spain established a strategic cooperation framework through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in Madrid. The partnership strengthens institutional cooperation between Morocco and Spain and provides a framework for joint initiatives in youth diplomacy, leadership, governance, international cooperation, sports diplomacy, peacebuilding, soft power, cultural dialogue, strategic research and Euro-Mediterranean engagement. Particular attention is given to the 2030 horizon and to the role of sport as an instrument of dialogue and rapprochement between societies, including prospective cooperation around the Football for Peace programme developed by the Diplomatic Academy in partnership with LaLiga. Through this long-term framework, MYCDIC and the Diplomatic Academy seek to connect young leaders, experts and institutional stakeholders while contributing to stronger Moroccan-Spanish dialogue and sustainable cooperation across the Mediterranean space.
