MYCDIC-PRESIDENT-001Presidency
Presidential vision

A Council measured by the quality of its institution, not only by its visibility.

“Our ambition is not to multiply activities, but to build an institution that gives serious young leaders a credible framework for service, dialogue and international cooperation. Every office, appointment and public record must strengthen trust in the Council and in the capacity of Moroccan youth to contribute with discipline, knowledge and responsibility.”
Institutional story

The founding vision behind MYCDIC

A concise account of the institutional idea that shaped the Council and the standards it continues to develop.

01From participation to institution

Move youth engagement from isolated participation toward a durable institutional framework.

02Governance before visibility

Build roles, responsibilities and accountability before seeking public prominence.

03National and international coherence

Connect Moroccan leadership with an organized international representation network.

04Trust through verification

Keep appointments, public claims and official records traceable and verifiable.

01

MYCDIC grew from a practical institutional question: how can youth participation in diplomacy and international cooperation move beyond isolated events and become continuous, credible and accountable? The response was to build a Council around structure rather than visibility alone. The founding vision placed clear offices, defined mandates, verified appointments, public records and institutional continuity at the center of the model.

02

The Council was therefore shaped as a platform where Moroccan youth could engage with international questions while remaining anchored in responsibility, professional conduct and respect for institutional boundaries. National work, international cooperation, programmes and country representations were designed to connect to a common governance framework instead of operating as separate initiatives.

03

As MYCDIC developed, the objective remained the same: create useful pathways for young people to learn, contribute, represent approved Council positions when formally mandated, and build partnerships that produce lasting institutional value. Public verification, controlled documents and transparent records are part of that evolution because credibility must be demonstrable, not merely declared.

04

Today, the founding vision continues through a Council that seeks to combine youth energy with institutional discipline: ambitious in international engagement, careful in governance, and committed to building long-term bridges between Morocco, young leaders and partners around the world.

Founding purpose

Give serious young leaders a structured, accountable and internationally oriented framework for contribution — while keeping authority, appointments and public claims verifiable.
