How to distinguish public institutions, youth councils, associations, networks and international programmes in Morocco.
Youth organizations in Morocco include associations, councils, thematic networks, student structures, community initiatives and programmes linked to larger institutions. These categories do not have the same legal status or mandate. A credible directory must therefore identify what an organization is, where it operates, who is responsible for it, and whether its claims can be verified. MYCDIC treats organization discovery as an institutional-mapping task rather than a generic list of names.

A useful organization profile should identify a public website or registry, geographic scope, leadership, programme evidence and current status.
The UN meaningful-participation framework is relevant when evaluating whether youth organizations are engaged as equal partners or only invited symbolically.
MYCDIC's own representation network is published separately and should not be confused with a national directory of all youth organizations.
MYCDIC prioritizes official national sources and primary international institutional sources. Access dates are shown so readers can evaluate freshness.
